Spring is coming!

Yes, I woke up to snow today!  February 23rd!  It was hard to believe it was coming again with a few freezing days to follow.  Are you as unsettled as I am right now?  I want to be outside in the sunshine even if it is chilly.  These days are hard for me, it's like being a kid on the last weeks of school daydreaming of all the fun each summer day will bring.  But the upside is that I can use this time to be productive in other ways.

It's the perfect time to sit with a steamy cup of tea curled up all cozy in a blanket tweaking my website, updating marketing pieces, and dreaming up ways to do creative portraits.  Do you take the winter, aka slow months, to dissect how you are portraying yourself and business?  Maybe I have too much time on my hands but this is when I try to look at everything from a client perspective.  Am I acheiving the message I want to convey with the photos and graphics on my website and marketing materials?  Do I need more photos that tell my story which in my case is really my client's story?  How can I plan to get my imagery to match what I am trying to storytell?
