Do touristy

It is the season where so many of us are flying off to visit family, or maybe run from our families!  Either way let's embrace the touristy!  What I mean is when you see that silly family quacking in the Duck mobile (the amphibious land vehicle) JOIN them!  Even if it's the city you grew up in or the town you visited every year with your family as a kid...go!  We were fortunate to photograph a wedding in Steve's hometown of Juneau, Alaska last year and while we were there we did those fun things!  My favorite and always on my checklist is the Alaska Fudge Co., we also love hiking out to the glacier but this time the highlight was taking lola to the tram.  It climbs the mountainside and lets you off for a bit to checkout the observatory.  While we were at the top we got to see an Eagle they were rehabilitating, Lola was mesmerized!  The funniest touristy thing I have done was there too!  We had our photo taken while Steve fought off a bear with a stick!  Hilarious!  We still laugh when we see the photo.  Those memories are priceless!
